BALLOT QUESTION
Question: Should the Constitution of Virginia be amended to allow the General Assembly to temporarily adopt new congressional districts to restore fairness in the upcoming elections, while ensuring Virginia's standard redistricting process resumes for all future redistricting after the 2030 census?
Deadlines:
Register to Vote/Update Registration: 4/14/2026
Early in-person voting: 3/6/2026 through 4/18/2026
Apply for ballot to be mailed to you: through 4/10/2026

Through Tuesday, April 14, 2026.
Register to vote or update an existing registration online using the Citizen Portal.
Voters may register and vote using a provisional ballot In-Person after April 14, 2026, through Election Day.

Early, in-person voting period:
Start Date Friday, March 6, 2026 through 5:00 p.m., Saturday, April 18, 2026.
The King William Registrar Offices will be open for early voting on the two Saturdays prior to the Special Election:

Apply for a ballot to be mailed to you:
Through 5:00 p.m., Friday, April 10, 2026.
Your request must be received by your local registrar's office by 5:00 p.m.
